Smarttrainers

Smarttrainers is a web application that allows trainers to improve the communication and follow up of their customers fitness routines and processes.

The problem

Due Covid-19, an early version of smarttrainers required an enhancement that allow trainers to continue have an effective communication with their customers, without the need of a close interaction.

Approach

After gathering information from SMEs and current users, a set of features were targeted to offer the new required experience, as well as an improvement of the current application.

Design deliverables

Working closely with development helped to understand technical constrains, so the design components were made for an specific tech stack, composed by tailwind css and react.

Outcome

The synergy between development and design, allowed to frame the scope from early phases. The improved smarttrainers became a responsive PWA (progressive web application).
